Terms & Conditions

Our quotations are valid for thirty (30) days from the date of quotation. Should this quotation be accepted, a written order to proceed will be required. No work will take place without this Order.

Terms of payment are strictly on the presentation of the invoice and as a “first-time client”, a minimum deposit of 50% will be required before any work commences.

All goods supplied and installed remain the property of Novateur (Pty) Ltd until paid for in full. Should installations or services not be paid in full no certificates of compliance will be issued. Should full payment not be received on issuing of the final invoice all guarantees will be void during the time until full payment is received.

All workmanship is guaranteed for twelve (12) months from the date of completion, fair wear and tear excepted. All equipment is guaranteed in line with the supplier’s guarantee. All guarantees are carry-in guarantees and all costs associated with replacing faulty equipment will be for the client’s account.

Unless specifically documented, our offer excludes all builder’s work, painting, trenching, backfilling, and making good of all types of ceilings and walls.

We reserve the right to alter individual prices should all work not proceed simultaneously as we have assumed continuity of contract and normal working hours. Should any overtime be required, not as a result of negligence or lack of performance on our part, the cost of such overtime would be an extra to the contract.

We have assumed that we will have access to work in reasonably clear areas, as well as upon hard and even surfaces where the erection of scaffolding proves necessary. Working at heights will be an additional cost for high-level access equipment.

Should the work be carried out on an existing system, we cannot be held responsible for any unforeseen damages whatsoever. We will also not be held responsible for any existing systems or equipment that is not included in our scope of work.

All costs incurred for water and electricity required to complete the installation will be for the client’s account.

Unless indicated on the quotation, no allowances have been made for a Safety Officer on-site or a full OHS Act Safety File for the project. Should these be required an additional cost will be submitted.

Should design drawings be required it would be considered an extra over cost to the contract and carry a three-week lead time from the date of receipt of all related information.

Acceptance of our quotation tacitly implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
